Partner with ACT Workforce Solutions and the Oregon Higher Education Commission to Build a Stronger Workforce

Through the WorkSource Oregon Centers, 2,961 Oregon employers have signed letters of support indicating a preference and/or recognition of the ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®) as a valuable credential in their hiring and recruitment practices.

What is it? The WorkKeys NCRC is a portable, evidence-based credential that certifies the essential skills for workplace success. To-date, over 80,000 individuals across Oregon have earned a WorkKeys NCRC, which verifies three foundational workplace skills: Applied Math; Workplace Documents; and Graphic Literacy. Certificates are earned at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

Why offer it? By earning the WorkKeys NCRC, job applicants and workers can stand out from the crowd and demonstrate to employers they have the knowledge of the foundational skills to be able to succeed in, and grow with the companies in their communities. Offering this program is ideal for high schools, community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and any agency looking to demonstrate career readiness with an industry-recognized certificate.
