This session will share strategies for using ACT data from ACT academic assessments and Workkeys to drive the continuous improvement process in classrooms, schools, and school systems. Once made practical, the data is valued. We will include time for participants to work in their own data and use ACT tools to support the improvement planning process. We will also discuss use of the data to evaluate strengths and weaknesses in local curriculum as well as application to school improvement goals. There is dedicated time in this session for you to roll up your sleeves and work in your school’s data! Join this session and leave on a path to build school and student success.
Participants will leave the session with:
- An understanding of the value of ACT data
- Identification of useful data available through the administration of ACT academic assessments and Workkeys
- Understanding the how ACT data and ACT tools support the continuous improvement process
- How to access and how to use the data for multiple purposes, including benchmarking progress in grades 8-12.

Health and Safety Notice
While not required, ACT recommends all conference attendees provide and wear a well-fitting face covering when attending an ACT-hosted event in accordance with CDC guidance.
If federal, state, and/or local laws, rules, regulations, or public health guidance changes before the event begins, ACT will update protocols and inform attendees in our email communications. As a result, ACT may require attendees to comply with additional COVID-19 related protocols (such as wearing a face covering, physical distancing, or providing proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test) in order to attend the event. ACT reserves the right to modify requirements at any time. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with any current or future requirements.
Health Screening
ACT is committed to mitigating the spread of COVID-19. If any of the following circumstances apply, you agree you will not attend the event if:
- You tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event date or are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
- You have not completed at least 10 days of isolation (or more if recommended by the CDC or your doctor) after your positive test or first full day after symptoms developed.
- You have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 as identified by the CDC within 10 days of the event date. NOTE: Attendees displaying symptoms of COVID-19 may be asked to leave.
- You were in close contact with someone who has known symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event date.
If you test positive for COVID-19 within 10 days after participating in an ACT event, contact your local healthcare provider or state or local health department who is responsible for contact tracing to disclose your participation in the event (provide the event name, date, and location, including the address). If your local health official determines further notification of possible exposure should occur, they may contact ACT at [email protected]. Unrelated email inquiries to that address will not receive a response.
Event Cancellation
ACT, Inc. (ACT) reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or convert in-person events to webinars or other digital experiences due to circumstances which would make the event non-viable, at ACT’s sole discretion. Should an event be postponed or converted to a webinar/digital experience, ACT will transfer the registration to the new event/date. ACT is not responsible for any expenses which a participant may have incurred related to the cancellation, postponement, or conversion of an event to a webinar/digital experience.
Liability Waiver
I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE ACT, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO EVENT ATTENDEES FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INJURY OR ILLNESS, LOST PROFITS, LOST RECORDS OR DATA, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE OF FACILITY OR EQUIPMENT, LOSS BY REASON OF FACILITY SHUT-DOWN OR NON-OPERATIONS OF INCREASED EXPENSE OF OPERATIONS, OR OTHER COSTS, CHARGES, PENALTIES, OR LIQUIDATED DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ARISING FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE OR IF SUCH LOSS COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEN. ACT’S LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING ALL SOWS, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE EVENT REGISTRATION FEES PAID BY ATTENDEE.
